Conductor jumps into canal in Lagos after conflict with passengers

According to reports, some passengers boarded a bus from Ajah to CMS for N250. However, when they got to IKate roundabout, the driver and conductor suddenly announced that they would not continue the journey. Thus, they decided to transfer all the passengers on to another bus.

Unluckily, some older women on the bus resisted the arrangement. They announced that they would not leave the bus, they said the driver and conductor must take them to CMS as earlier agreed.

In the course of the saga, one of the women grabbed the conductor's t-shirt. The conductor, in order to escape, jumped into a nearby canal and refused to come out.

After some minutes of displaying stubbornness, he eventually came out to return the transport fare to the other passengers who agreed to board another bus.
