Teebillz breaks down over marriage issues with Tiwa Savage

The news on the Social Media today is about entertainment couple Teebillz and Tiwa Savage. Teebillz was said to have gone on his Instagram page to rant about issues he has with Tiwa Savage to the extent that he accused her of sleeping with Tuface, Dr Sid and Don Jazzy.

Teebillz doubles as Tiwa Savage's husband and manager and they are blessed with a son named Jamal.

However, the gist about his rant on Instagram is yet to be confirmed as sources claim that Teebillz has deleted the posts he made this morning on the matter. A suicide message is part of the posts.

Consequently, the suicide attempt made by Teebillz is said to be as a result of depression from being abandoned by his wife who rather focuses on make up, music and endorsements. He claims she hasn't bothered about his meal for the past 3 years.

D'banj is to get married soon

Popular music artiste, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as DBanj, has revealed in a recent interview that he would be getting married soon since his mother is mounting enormous pressure on him. The koko master, who is 35 years old, is still single even though at many times he had been linked to relationships with various celebrities, including popular actress Genevive Nnaji.

In an interview which Dbanj granted a South African radio host, Anele Mdoda he said, “She (his mother) told me, ‘Listen, I don’t care about your success. Maybe it’s
this success that’s making you not to get married.” The entertainment scene would however be glad to see veteran musician tie the knot with any lady who he deems fit.

He said, “Once you say you’re an entertainer‚ you don't want to limit yourself. “So yes‚ I’m going into Hollywood. It might be here in South Africa where I’ll be having a reality show about me. I told you I might be on Isidingo soon.”

Autopsy result of the gospel singer that died in a hotel

Yvonne Omoarebokhae, the gospel singer who died in a hotel room in Benin was killed by cardiac arrest. Autopsy carried out by the doctors show that the late Omoarebokhae died as a result of midnight heart attack. Apostle Psalm Okpe Of Fresh Oil Ministry in Lagos, who invited her for the programme has been in detention following Omoarebokhae’s sudden demise. An insider told said that an autopsy has since been carried out on the deceased and that the result showed she had a cardiac arrest in the middle of the night, which eventually led to her death. According to him: “The autopsy result shows the late Mrs. Omoarebokhae died as a result of cardiac arrest. She was neither poisoned nor stabbed as widely reported because there was no stain of blood on her body.”

He further said Agatu-born Benue State fiery preacher had since been released from detention. “There will be a press conference at the Edo State Police Command on Monday, April 18 on the matter,” the insider further added. The deceased reportedly lodged in the same hotel with the Lagos-based pastor in Benin hours before her death. According to her husband, Mr Omoarebokhae, his wife
and Apostle Okpe met each other on Facebook and after several months of chatting, the pastor invited her to perform at a program in Warri Delta state. The widower said Okpe promised to take Yvonne to South Africa. On Friday around 10am, Yvonne called her husband to tell him she would be home soon. That was
the last night he heard from her. At about 9:30pm, Mr Omoarbokhae received another call from the police that his wife’s corpse has been deposited at the Benin Central Hospital mortuary.

South African DJ Oskido is crossed with D'banj

Popular South African disk jockey and record producer, Oskido is very cross with Nigerian Pop star, D’banj.

Early this morning, the DJ took to his Instagram page to say to the Nigerian music superstar: “Kindly take out all my artists and my name on the song, Ntswebu, inclusive of video visuals. “This is not the first time you disrespect me my man. The reason Mide Martins didn't wish her husband a happy birthday

In an interview conducted with Mide Martins by Celeb Pokice, she debunked
rumours that she moved out of her matrimonial home, stating clearly that the reverse is actually the case. According to her “People believe that I have moved out of my husband’s house, but up till this
moment, I am still in my matrimonial home. Afeez Owo was the one who moved out of the house three months ago leaving me with five children to cater for. Two of whom are our biological children,
the other two, cousins and one house help”.

The actress who spoke in an emotion-laden tone, said that she has been alone for the survival of the kids with the help of God and she has been working hard to ensure that everyone survives. While she is aggrieved at the manner in which her husband suddenly came up with these false allegations, she believes that he was advised by people with malicious intentions to attack her first, probably

Linda Ikeji has reported Wizkid to the police

Popular blogger, Linda Ikeji has put music superstar, Wizkid in trouble with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) after filing a petition with the Lagos State Police Command against the musician for allegedly threatening her life. It was gathered that according to Ikeji's petition, the Starboy records owner had threatened to send his underage cousin to beat her up.

It was further gathered that Linda, fearing for her life, got the Police to invite Wizkid for a
chat but he failed to show up. This could mean trouble for the top music artiste. As it symbolizes an act of aggression against another citizen which is what was claimed by Ikeji. This could earn the accused a jail sentence of up to seven years if found guilty.

The drama between the two celebrities started some days back when Linda Ikeji posted a story about Wizkid being served a quit notice at his Lekki Phase 1residence. It is however not the first time Wizkid, is facing the possibility of arrest and prosecution for alleged assault. Earlier this year, he assaulted Hyper-tek music artiste, Dammy Krane inside a Lagos night club, Quilox and would have been arrested if Dammy Krane had pressed charges.

19 year old boy deflowered by a raging bull

19 year old Andres Roca Rey was defiled by a raging bull which inserted its horns in his anus during a bull fight contest.

The Peruvian bull fighter was charging the
1176lb animal when things got out of hand and it gored him in his anus, lifting him up and assaulting him in an incident which lasted 15 seconds at Seville, Spain.

Luckily he sustained just minor injuries to
his posterior end.

Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will contain more videos in the next 5 years

If you think your Facebook feed has a lot of video now, just wait. “In five years, most of [Facebook] will be video,” CEO Mark
Zuckerberg said Thursday during the company’s first community town hall, in which he took questions from the public on a range of topics.

He was responding to a question about whether the growing number of photos uploaded to Facebook is putting a drag on
its infrastructure. But Facebook’s data centers have it covered, he said. The real challenge is improving the infrastructure to allow for more rich media like video in
people’s feeds.

Zuckerberg took questions from a group of users who were invited to its headquarters in Menlo Park, California, and people also submitted questions online.One of the most popular online question was why Facebook forced users to download its Messenger app for mobile.

The 30-year-old acknowledged not everyone was thrilled with the change.
“Asking everyone in our community to install another app is a big ask,” he said. But Facebook thought it could provide a
better, faster messaging product if it split it off from its own app.

“We really believe this is a better experience,” Zuckerberg said. One user in the audience asked him if Facebook is losing its charm or becoming boring.
The question of Facebook losing its “cool” gets raised from time to time, Zuckerberg said, but “my goal was never to make Facebook cool,” he said. Instead, he wants it to be a helpful service that just works.
Another asked why he always seems wear the same t-shirts and hoodies. Zuckerberg said he wants to spend as much time as possible on things that matter, like how to build products, even if it means thinking less about what he wears.

“Steve Jobs had the same approach,” he said.

Following rumours making the rounds that Nollywood actress, Taiwo Aromokun’s marriage has failed, the star has responded.

Prince William and Kate Middleton attend Bollywood dinner while on tour to India

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton played cricket and attended a Bollywood dinner yesterday after paying last respects to those killed in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack during their India tour.

The hotel that the royal couple stayed in, The Taj Mahal Palace, was attacked by terrorists in 2008 but there was no cause for concern as security was beefed up.

The royal couple was later pictured bowing their heads as they laid a wreath in respect of the 31 people who were killed in the horrific terrorist attack at the hotel.

A message on the wreath read: “In memory of those who lost their lives and those injured in the senseless atrocities at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. William, Catherine.”

Later, Kate looked glamorous in a Jenny Packham dress as she and her husband, Prince William attended a charity gala filled with Bollywood stars.

During the dinner, William gave a speech, revealing how his wife wanted them to visit India when they newly got wed.

“When Catherine and I were married, India was the first place on Catherine’s list that she told me that she wanted to visit,” he told attendees. “Two children and five years later, we have finally made it and we are both honoured to be here.” Check out more pictures below:

Two Shebab fighters executed in Somalia

Two members of Somalia's al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab militant group were executed by firing squad Saturday for the murder of a journalist killed by a car bomb last year.

Hassan Nur Ali, 37, and Abdirisak Mohamed Barow, 28, were shot in Mogadishu following their recent sentence by the country’s military court.

Speaking to the media after the execution, Abdulahi Hussein Mohamed, deputy judge of the military court, said the men had finally faced justice.

"Both of those executed were found guilty of murdering journalist Hindiyo Haji Mohamed, whose car was blown [up] with [an] explosive device," Mohamed said. “They have faced the justice.” 

The men were caught by security forces few days after the killing of Mohamed in December 2015.

Hindiyo Haji Mohamed, who was a journalist for two state-run news outlets, Radio Mogadishu and Somali National TV, was killed when a bomb planted under the seat of her car exploded. Local journalists said she was returning home from Somali International University, where she was a student. She was the widow of another journalist, who was killed in an attack in Mogadishu in 2012.

How to have a lasting marriage

Different folks have written rules on lasting marriage, but what you are about to read is not one of those rules. I have taken my time to gather tips and ways whereby you can have a happy lasting marriage. I have also learnt from watching my parents who have been married for over 40 years. 

These days, marriages barely last because we are the "internet generation". We are so used to having things "sharply". A lot of people are used to fast things: cars, noodles, chips, food. We microwave everything microwavable; chicken, rice including popcorn. All these have successfully and strategically pushed out patience from our generation. Thus, it takes a conscious effort to master the art of patience which is so vital in marriage that its benefits cannot be overemphasized.

TIPS FOR A LASTING MARRIAGE

1. Use magic words: learn to use those 5 magic words "sorry, please, thank you, excuse me, pardon me". These go a long way. Listen more and talk less whenever you are upset so that you do not say things that you will regret later. You will be surprised that people rarely forget what their loved ones tell them, because they cherish them a lot.

2. Don't live on social media: this is one of the keys that helps the older generation; they are not used to social media. Try as much as possible to reduce your social media time. Don't be addicted to it. Taking a walk down the mall, one often sees couples on dates where the parties are on their phones chatting with those who are not with them. Some people carry this habit home after wedding and they chat off on the internet while their partner is discussing something important with them. Learn that your spouse comes first, after God of course. Note that communication is very crucial in marriage.

3, Stay with your spouse through thick and thin: this is where I need to state that you shouldn't marry for money. Marry for love and readiness to sacrifice. You should continue being an understanding partner even if the going gets tough. Remember that phrase in the marital vow, "for better or worse". Nobody prays for it, but if it happens, don't bail out on your partner.

4. Do things together: watch movies together, read books, share your knowledge on an important topic you just learnt. Go out on dates together. Relive your courtship days. Dates are not meant for only the intending couples. Stay young and youthful, enjoy your marriage.

5. Develop each other: help each other to become better in each chosen fields. Your partner's life should be better than before he/she met you. Always have a positive impact on your partner. Think of how to impart their lives and do just that.

The Ingredients (serving 4 persons):

Ø All-purpose flour (2.5 cups)

Wash your hands properly and wipe with a kitchen towel.

Add two and half cups of flour to a bowl, (about 200g), two teaspoons of yeast, add the ground nutmeg, add a pinch of salt to taste, 3 spoons of granulated sugar and start stirring with your hand and make sure they are properly mixed together. Now add 150-200ml of warm water to mix properly, stir with your hand for few more minutes until they are properly integrated together.

Remember that the standard measuring cup is 250ml, the equivalent is that peak tin milk cup is used to sell a cup of rice in the market.

You can taste at this point and add more salt and sugar if there is any need for a little more; then go ahead and stir a little more.

Add enough water so you can actually scoop some in your palm; but not too much water to the point that it would run off through your fingers when scooped. Once it is properly mixed together, you will need to tightly cover the mixture in the bowl with a foil, tray or nylon for about thirty minutes. This gives the yeast the opportunity to make the dough rise.

After 30 minutes, open the dough, it would have risen a little, if it is very foamy, you probably used lots of yeast and your puff puff would have holes in them, but that is not very bad, No holes at all is bad actually.

Put a deep frying pan or pot on fire. Allow the pan or pot to dry before adding about 2-3litres of oil. make sure the oil is at least 2-3 inches deep, it is not right for the puff puff to rest at the bottom of the pot, it would give it a somewhat flat shape, and people would actually think you made pancake 

Once the oil is heated, scoop some in your palm and squeeze into the oil, allowing it to escape through the circle made by your thumb and index finger. Don’t bother about making it so big, what you drop into the oil will triple in size before it comes out of the oil.

When you get it right, it should be somewhat spherical and sometimes with a horn. It should float if the oil is properly heated. Continue until the oil is covered. Observe and turn once you see that usual color of puff puff.

You have to be mindful of the heat also, the oil when heated too much could burn the puff puff before it is properly cooked and when it is not heated at all your puff puff gets soaked in too much oil. Puff puff needs the right condition for it to appear beautiful.

Actually, when you drop the dough into the hot oil, it might sink at first, then rise to the surface.

Repeat until you have fried all the dough. What you have will look like this:

Gucci advert banned for using "unhealthily thin" female model

A Gucci advert has been banned for using an “unhealthily thin” model. The advert for the Italian fashion brand showed a group of models at a dance party in a villa outside of Florence, each wearing items from the Gucci cruise collection.

In the original advert, the video featured images of two models at the end of the creative; one sat on a bright yellow sofa wearing a short skirt showing her legs, and another wearing a long-sleeved and long-length dress leaning at an angle against a wall.

Both models were the subject of a complaint that the advert was irresponsible for showing “unhealthily” women.
Gucci claimed that the advert, which appeared on The Times’ website, was aimed at an “older, sophisticated” audience, claiming that the newspaper had an “adult and mature readership”.

The brand stated that while the models were slim, nowhere in the advert were their bones visible, their clothes were not revealing and the “lighting was uniform and warm to ensure there were no hollows caused by shadows”.

But while the Advertising Standards Authority said the model on the sofa appeared slim but not excessively slender or underweight, the model leaning against the wall looked “unhealthily thin”.

The ASA said the model’s torso and arms appeared quite slender and “out of proportion with her hear and lower body”. It added that “her pose elongated her torso and accentuated her waist so that it appeared to be very small,” while “her somber facial expression and dark make-up particularly around the eyes, made her face look gaunt”. The image of the model has been branded irresponsible and banned from further use.

Black Chyna"s mother is unhappy with the Kardashians

Tokyo Toni, Black Chyna's mum is unhappy with the Kardashians because they are yet to congratulate Black Chyna on her engagemnt to Rob Kardashian.

Lately, people seem to enjoy ranting on their Instagram pages whenever they are upset. The angry mother took her unhappiness to Instagram. She had the following to say:

Tiwa Savage performs with her son, Jamil

Tiwatope Savage-Balogun who is popularly known as Tiwa Savage performed with her son, Jamil for the first time at the 25th birthday party of popular fashion designer, Deola Sagoe's daughter.

Her hair-do was lovely cornrows with her hairline gorgeously made. The sexy mother of one, wore a black dress with a silver brooch while her son, Jamil was also dressed in black.

Rob Kardashian and Black Chyna are engaged

One way or the other, the Kardashians seem to always be on the news with the good , the bad, the ugly and the controversial. From the news of Kim Kardashian's sex tape, to their transgender father (Caitlyn Jenner) to their confused half-sister, Kyle Jenner (who keeps doing surgical experiments).... Basically. with the Kardashians, the list is endless. At a time, we even heard that Tyga (Kyle's boyfriend) once dated Black Chyna.

This time it is good news from their estranged brother Rob Kardashian who ostracized himself from the family show (Keeping up with the Kardashians) due to his battle with obesity. He however proposed to his girlfriend Black Chyna yesterday Monday, 4th April 2016. She expressed her feelings on Instagram thus:

"I'm so blessed and honoured to have good man in my life. I love you @robkardashian! #7carats #VVS"

That means Rob is engaged to his sister's boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. Congrats to them.

Yoruba Demons

I keep having the urge to write about Yoruba boys now popularly referred to as Yoruba Demons. First and foremost, are they really demons? A lot has been said about them. I have compiled gists for you on what I have heard, read and watched about Yoruba boys. Enjoy!

In case you haven’t heard or read about Yoruba Demons, they are simply Yoruba boys whom ladies believe are heart breakers. They can be seen dressed in aso ebi to a friend’s wedding strictly for one business; to get a new babe, date her and break her heart.

These days, they have strategized, some already have plans from the get go as to how they intend to break your heart. They go to the extent of bragging about what they don’t have. They even have an “association” (group of friends) who will gather resources like money, car and clothes etc for the guy so that he can use it to use to impress a babe.

Babes, you have to be on the lookout so that you don’t fall victim to these group of boys. They up their game from day to day. Spend their day making blueprints of how they will break your heart. When they gather to discuss, they often compare and contrast scripts. That is, they share gists of their conquests and give one another tips on how to achieve set “goals”.

Some of them give the economic situation in the country as the reason why they are desperate to obtain money from ladies. Personally, I believe a lady shouldn’t spend her money on a guy she is dating. It is totally wrong. Don’t let anybody deceive you or press your mumu button. LOL

To identify them, it takes the grace of God, because some of them can deceive you for even years before you find out. We all know that it is often said that love is blind but please shine your eyes when you are in love.

How to grow long hair fast

In order to have long beautiful hair; be it natural, texlaxed or relaxed, there are regimens to be followed. Lately, people have discovered that Nigerian hair can also grow long.

The reason why most people’s hair is not so long is because we do not care for it the way we ought to care for it. When caring for our hair, there are dos and don’ts that one needs to stick to:

1. Avoid heat from straighteners and driers. They tend to be harsh on hair and too much heat can make hair growth stagnant.

2. Use shea butter (ori) as hair cream. Rather than waste your money on processed hair creams that are expensive and contain chemicals that will damage your hair, use shea butter instead. The other good news is that it is quite affordable. With just N50, you can get a scoop of it.

3. Steam your hair from time to time. Try to steam your hair at least once in three months. This is one regimen I am yet to stick to, but it’s quite good. You can do it at home yourself. Wash your hair with shampoo, rinse it and apply deep-conditioner on it at night. Wear a shower cap and go to bed. When you wake up in the morning, remove shower cap and rinse your hair. Voila! You have just steamed your hair at home yourself. 

4. Use oils on your scalp every other day. For a better result, you can heat the oil a little on fire, leave it to cool and then apply on scalp. Some of the oils that can be used for this purpose are: coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil (especially Jamaican Black Castor Oil) and palm kernel oil (adin dudu in Yoruba).

5. Learn to massage your scalp with whichever oil you are using. That is, don’t just put oil on your scalp, but massage the scalp after application. I am sure you have observed that hairstylists do that to your hair a lot at the salon. It is done so that the oil can go to the hair roots and then flow to its tips.

6. Try as much as possible to do mainly protective hairstyles. This implies that you do hairstyles that protect your hair from heat (from the sun), constant combing and hairline breakage.

NOTE: When it comes to a woman’s beauty, the hairline is very important. Therefore, the hairline is very important. Babes, protect your hairline as much as you can.
